The Farmers’ & Sportsmen’s Conservation Club was organized on February 8th, 1938. It was formed by a group of sportsmen, 13 in all, that believed something should be done to promote a better sentiment between the farmer, landowner and the sportsmen. It’s main purpose has always been to conserve our limited natural resources, promote wildlife conservation, firearm safety and fellowship amongst sportsmen. The original clubhouse was dedicated on August 23, 1942. The club celebrated it’s 75th anniversary on March 16, 2013.
